An opportunity to volunteer for the day with our community working party. This is an excellent way of learning about hedgerow and pond management, led by Community Officer Sarah Hughes.

Come and meet new people, learn a new skill and help wildlife – all at the same time – by rejuvenating the hedges and pond at Tuppenny Barn, and providing an excellent corridor for wildlife to move across the countryside.

Hedge maintenance consists of laying, pruning, weaving and dead-hedging, so this is also a great opportunity for a natural work-out!

Homemade refreshments and hot drinks will be provided.
