In our Curds and Preserves demonstration we will cover all the basics of jam making including sterilising, sourcing ingredients and jars, reaching ‘setting point’ and every stage of the relevant preserving process to give you the confidence to try at home.
Maggie, who is the founder of Tuppenny Barn, is well known for her wonderful marmalades and jams that she makes for the Tuppenny Barn Shop.
Christine, aka The Hedgerow Apothecary, spends the Autumn foraging in the hedgerows seeking out wild berries and fruit to turn into jams, chutneys and vinegars.
