The Labyrinth is an ancient archetypal symbol found throughout the world, traditionally used for walking meditation. The labyrinth is also a spiritual tool for inner transformation; it helps us to re-awaken to our body’s intelligence, which brings us to an awareness of our innate connection and place within nature.
On this workshop at Tuppenny Barn you will:
– Learn and experience how the labyrinth can help establish our connection to nature.
– Work directly with plants to form a deeper relationship.
– Forage a wild food salad for lunch.
– Get to walk the new 3 circuit Herb Labyrinth in the beautiful organic orchard of Tuppenny Barn.
Leading the workshop are Mark Willenbruch and Julie Wood.
Mark created the Herb Labyrinth at Tuppenny Barn after an insight to its uses whilst travelling in Ireland. He studied on a Herbal Apprenticeship and is fascinated with ways of reconnecting to nature, and in particular, plant medicine, herbs and the body’s ability for sensory awareness.
Julie is a medical herbalist (BSc Hons HM) and practices from her home in East Stour, Dorset. She is particularly interested in the historic traditions and roots of herbal medicine. Both Mark and Julie are training in Plant Spirit Medicine or what might be termed the indigenous way with plants.
