Ethical and sustainable fashion is the theme of our first ever fashion night at Tuppenny Barn. Hosted by vintage expert Naomi Thompson we are all set for a fun, fashion evening with a conscience.
We will be introducing lots of local people making and selling organic, fairtrade, upcycled and recycled clothing.
Cred Jewellers – based in Chichester this jeweller has led the way in sourcing fair trade gold.
St Wilfrid’s Hospice Shop – with a plethora of charity shops out there, St Wilfrid’s consistently stands out for their quality clothing, with every penny going to provide their invaluable hospice services
Coastal Drft – take an old pair or jeans, team them a beautiful, vintage fabric and hey presto you have a funky mini-skirt or trendy pinafore.
Janice Clark – trades in second hand clothing, carefully selecting only the best pieces for her customers.
The Wardrobe Exchange – really good dress agencies can be hard to find and Jo’s shop in Aldwick is a real gem.
People Tree – People Tree has transformed ethical fashion into something that is desirable and glamorous. A selection from their current range will be on show.
Fairycakes Boutique – Charlotte sources and resells affordable, vintage fashion that you really want to wear.
Classix Clothing – this store stocks some of the best brands for producing organic and pure cotton clothing, including SeaSalt and Braintree.
Sew Don’t Throw and Transition Chichester –this group helps share skills in a fun, informal way. They work alongside Transition Chichester who make sure nothing goes to waste and will be giving away donated clothes!
