Aimed at primary school children aged 6-11 years, this 2 hour outdoor session will be run by our experienced education officer. Children will learn about why bees are so important to our survival. They will play our pollination game and make a bee bomb to take home with them. Hopefully we will have harvested our early summer crop of honey from our own hives and the children will get to taste some!
Spaces will be limited and you will be required to drop off your child for the activity.
All activities will take place outdoors so please ensure your child wears long sleeves, boots and coats and applies sun cream beforehand if needed. Children will be given a snack during the break (please advise of dietary requirements on the booking form).
Please note that we have in place risk assessments for both COVID-19 & general activities.
