Named after a cobbled Glasgow street where they met in a local club, husband and wife duo Esther and Tim O’Connor are part of a new wave of homegrown modern country music originating in the UK.

In 2016 Ashton Lane performed at the famous Country 2 Country festival in London, as well as receiving nominations in two categories at the BCMAs (British Country Music Awards) for best duo and best song.

They have toured the length and breadth of the UK, gigged in Nashville Tennessee, and extensively round Europe. More recently they received an enthusiastic reception when they played the Hard Rock stage at the 2017 Isle of Wight Festival.

Their album Nashville Heart received five star reviews and radio support around the UK and Europe.

Esther and Tim planned to release three new singles last year with an album to follow.
