The writing was on the wall when one of folk’s best known musicians, Paul Sartin, joined forces with Paul Hutchinson to create Belshazzar’s Feast in 1995. Their collective musicianship has been honed over more than 20 years along with a razor-sharp sense of humour that produces memorable moments between their songs.

As a singer, oboist, violinist, composer and arranger, Paul Sartin has also played and recorded extensively with Bellowhead and Faustus, who performed at the Barn in March 2016.

Accordian-player Paul Hutchinson is known for his work with Hoover the Dog and Karen Tweed and is an experienced accordian workshop leader.
