When they are not touring with Midge Ure of Ultravox, Cole Stacey and Joseph O’Keefe are bringing their own brand of contemporary folk to festivals and gigs in the UK and Europe.

The India Electric Co. play traditional instruments in contemporary styles and introduce themes and influences from around the world.

Last year the duo were awarded funding through the English Folk and Dance Society’s Creative Seed Programme. They aimed to spend the money on researching and developing their second EP exploring country and city themes.

They returned to the Avalon Café stage at last year’s Glastonbury Festival and were also involved in a 2017 tour that included Australia, New Zealand, Scandinavia and Ireland.
