Sally Ann Stone

Originating from Devon, Sally started in photography as a young assistant with her father whilst out on photoshoots. Taking her own interests further, Sally has worked professionally in photography for over 20 years and has just recently taken early retirement from full-time lecturing in Photography and Media based courses. Sally enjoys sharing her love of photography through her enthusiastic teaching and has taught many learners of all ages including young children to adults looking to develop new interests. Recent interest in Still Life photography, Sally was awarded the RPS Creative Eye Bronze Medal, for her images titled ‘Ink Wells’ which incorporated her interests in the natural world and inherited artefacts. A keen gardener and a career change into the study and practice of Horticulture, has meant Sally is able to combine these two interests in nature and garden photography, she is eagerly looking to extend her portfolio and gain recognition in this genre.
