Join us at this year’s annual Tuppenny Barn Open Day. You can see how we grow our organic fruit, vegetables, herbs and salad leaves and meet our bee-keeper Adrian – who will be talking about the bees, and Christine, giving tours and talking about herbal folklore.
This year you’ll be also able to admire our beautiful new stone terrace and entrance (courtesy of London Stone), with disabled access, spot wildlife in our natural pond – with bridge – and admire our striking new Herb Bank, designed by Annie Guilfoyle and planted with a myriad of herbs that can be used in cooking or for medicinal purposes.
A selection of hand-picked local producers, suppliers and artisans who share our belief in ‘local, seasonal, sustainable’ will be selling their wares, the cafe in the marquee will be open for cream teas and refreshments, there will be free activities for the children, and you will be able to pick-your-own (and buy) organic fruit from our soft fruit trees.
Tickets: £3 per person. Children free. Free parking.
Money raised through this event goes back into our not-for-profit social enterprise.
