Feel better to learn better!
Free Online CPD focusing on using outside areas: 3rd November 2020 4pm-5pm
Making the most of your outside spaces to support pupils physical, emotional & mental wellbeing.
For Teachers of Early years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 and LSAs
The session will provide lots of practical activities using simple, low cost, free or no resources. Learn to fully utilise your school grounds to deliver engaging and interesting sessions.
Pupils who visit Tuppenny Barn often reflect at the end of the sessions feeling more relaxed and positive after reconnecting with nature. Through this online training we aim to give you the confidence to use your outside spaces to achieve the same benefits.
During the session we will explore:
- Using the outdoor environment to improve pupils wellbeing
- Using natural and creative elements to help to lower stress levels and reduce anxiety
- Giving pupils a chance to reflect, relax and reconnect with nature.
